The Universal Link Discovery Client (ULDis) allows -
based on an abstract resource discovery vocabulary (aardv) and
automated descriptor converter (arc) - to perform discovery independent
of the underlying descriptor (that is XRD, POWDER, or voiD).
Offers Two Component:
- The LRDD-Processor finds descriptor
sources (XRD, POWDER, voiD) based on the Linkd-based
Resource Descriptor Discovery Protocol.
- Mapping to Abstract Resource Descriptor Vocabulary [Aardv].
ULDis maps the different descriptor formats the terms of Aardv using the Automated descRiptor Converter.
Provides Three Services:
- ULDIS - Service: Combines the
ARC
and LRDD service [not yet implemented].
- ARC - Service: The mapping
service [not yet
implemented].
- LRDD - Service 0.1: Resource
description discovery service using LRDD.
